The attack took place at around 10 pm at Rajib Chattar adjacent to Ramek Medical under Boalia police station.
At that time the locals were coming forward at the shout of Rahul and the miscreants fled. He was later rescued and admitted to Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital. The injured Rajib is the son of Mohammad Rakib of Shalbagan area under Shahmakhdum police station. Rahul's sister Mahi said that Rahul was stabbed to death by miscreants at around 10 pm on Tuesday. At that moment, they stabbed him in the left leg and waist. This caused a lot of bleeding from his body. He is currently undergoing treatment in Ward No. 31 of Ramek. Mahi also said that she would file a case with the concerned police station after the treatment.
