pabna The broken look of Faridpur has got the look of Dubai

Online Desk: The drone's eyes look like a large white flower painted on a green canvas when viewed from a distant sky. Different animals are walking on the petals of that flower. As soon as it gets a little closer, it becomes clear that it is a road bend. Where cars are speeding along the smooth roads spread in a circle. Multiple roads have been diverted in different directions through that moving vehicle. When the street lights come on at night, a different eye-catching scene is created.

This pattern of modern architecture has developed not in Europe, America or Dubai, but in the rural areas of Faridpur district. As part of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's priority Padma Bridge project, people from 21 districts in the south-west are already benefiting from this aesthetic road junction on the country's first expressway. With the launch of the Padma Bridge, the districts will be directly connected to the capital using this turn. It will connect Mongla, Payra and Benapole ports, the heart of the south-western economy. Rail communication will be created along with roads.

Lokman Hossain, a resident of Bhanga Upazila, said, "No one here could have imagined that this area would change like this." Even before Sheikh Hasina came to power in 2008, only one bus stop crammed with tea shops was broken. He came to power and built the Dhaka-Khulna highway. After that the importance of the turn increases. Now seeing this place, I don't want to believe that it is our broken. Looks like a place in Europe-America. Now people are coming from far and wide to see the beauty of the turn. '

Bhanga upazila town is now the gateway to 21 districts in the south-west. The road goes west through this entrance to Khulna-Benapole via Gopalganj. Madaripur in the south, Kuakata beach in Patuakhali via Barisal, Faridpur city in the north in the western districts. Once you cross the Padma Bridge through Madaripur, you reach Dhaka in 20-22 minutes. This 55 km long expressway from Jurain in Dhaka to Bhanga in Faridpur is part of Corridor 1 of the country's first expressway Asian Highway.

According to the Roads Department, the construction of the expressway cost Tk 8,792.28 crore. The Bangladesh Roads Department is the financier of this huge project which started in 2016. The broken bend has been constructed in such a modern design from the far-reaching plan so that there will be no traffic jam after the construction of the Padma Bridge now and in the future.
